Network Engineer

Currently, for one of our trusted clients that offers high-tech solutions, consulting and professional services in the fields of networks, data centers and information security, we are looking for a Network Engineer to join their team in Sofia.
Among your responsibilities will be:
• Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Installs and maintains network facilities, including hardware, software, and system data for small to medium sized networks.
• Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
• Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
The main requirements for the position are:
Technical:
• 2+ or years of practical experience with installation and implementation of network devices and networks
• Extensive experience with Aruba or Cisco
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience with network troubleshooting
Personal:
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Good time-management skills
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Curious and open to learn personality
• Excellent level of spoken and written English
What we consider an asset but not mandatory:
Possess either Cisco OR Aruba certificate:
• CCNA/CCNP
• Aruba Certified Network Technician (ACNT)
• Aruba Network Campus Access Certified (Professional or Associate)
• Aruba Network Switching Certified (Professional or Associate)
• Aruba Network Security or ClearPass Certified (Professional or Associate)
