Purchasing Specialist

For our key client – a leading international manufacturing company, we are looking to appoint a Purchasing Specialist.

Your responsibilities:

•    Market research and monitoring for relevant products/spare parts/materials/ service categories

•    Based on analysis of the market trends to re-negotiate with suppliers (existing and new for the company) the most proper parameters for the company

•    Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key suppliers

•    Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team

•    Sourcing, placing and tracking purchase orders for general material and tools, and specific category groups 

•    Finding optimum sources for material and service demands, incl. 'Make or Buy' decisions

•    Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms, and conditions

•    Monitoring the delivery process (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and coordinating with suppliers in case of delayed delivery

Your background:

•    A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering or similar field

•    Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience

•    Experience with an ERP system will be an advantage

•    Very good level in English

•    Strong time management and task prioritization skills

•    Excellent analytical skills

•    Ver good level of excel to be able to analyze the market and category situation

•    A high level of self-motivation, curiosity to learn

•    A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills

•    Readiness to travel
