Health and Safety Expert
One of our biggest clients - a leading producer of building materials in Bulgaria, is currently searching for a highly motivated professional to join their team and fulfill the role of: Health and Safety Expert
Main Responsibilities:
• Actively support organization with all activities related to ensuring healthy and safe conditions of work in compliance with legislation, company policies and guidelines and safety management systems
• Prepare, organize and perform H&S training, induction, safety briefing, communication campaigns
• Organize, analyze hazards and incident investigations and ensure relevant actions and plans are implemented on time
• Organize, implement and/or support and monitoring of Health and Safety projects in compliance with company goals, providing protection means and devices, HS services and others
• Develop, maintain and update H&S documentation of the company in compliance with legislation and company guidelines, including fire safety and emergency preparedness
• Apply systematic monitoring and assessment on following the company HS rules by it’s employees, contractors and suppliers
Main Requirements:
• Min 3 years of relevant working experience
• Engineering degree or occupational safety discipline or NEBOSH certificate
• Experience in industrial environment
• Knowledge of relevant Bulgarian Health & Safety legislation
• Good command of English - B2 level
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Certification as lead auditor of ISO 45001:2018 or NEBOSH certificate will be considered as an advantage
• Knowledge of equipment used for waste processing will be considered as advantage
