Senior Tax Accountant
On behalf of one of our trusted clients - market leader in the construction of utility solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, we are currently looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team:
Responsibilities:
• Reviews and/or prepares VAT returns and/or other similar tax-related documents in compliance with the tax laws and regulations in different jurisdictions;
• Prepares claims for refund of VAT paid in other countries;
• Reviews and/or prepares corporate income tax returns of the Bulgarian entities from the Group;
• Supports the accounting team in the reconciliation of tax liabilities and relevant data with the accounting information;
• Participates in the communication with domestic and foreign tax authorities in tax audits;
• Supports the Head of Tax of the Group and the Tax Managers in all tax related affairs and provides updates on the progress of all active projects and tasks on domestic and international tax matters, including corporate taxation, transfer pricing policies and documentation, application of tax treaties, VAT and other tax matters;
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Law;
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in international or Bulgarian tax;
• Fluent English (written & verbal);
• Willingness to learn new things and develop as a tax specialist;
• Previous experience working in the construction industry is considered an advantage, but it is not mandatory.
