Tax Expert
On behalf of one of our trusted clients - market leader in the construction of utility solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, we are currently looking for a Tax Expert to join their team:
Responsibilities:
• Provides tax advice and planning on domestic and international tax matters, including corporate taxation, transfer pricing policies and documentation, application of tax treaties, VAT and other tax matters;
• Reviews and/or prepares VAT returns and/or other similar tax-related documents
• Prepares claims for refund of VAT paid in other EU and non-EU countries;
• Reviews and/or prepares corporate income tax returns of the Bulgarian entities from the Group;
• Performs research of the tax legislation and relevant practice;
• Participating in the communication with the domestic and foreign tax authorities in tax audits, checks and/or inspections;
• Supports the Head of Tax of the Group and the Tax Managers in all tax related affairs and provides updates on the progress of all active projects and tasks;
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Law;
• Extensive knowledge of tax legislation – both Bulgarian and EU; (German tax legislation - an advantage);
• 2-3 years of relevant experience as a tax expert or specialist, in-house or in a consulting firm, in international tax;
• Fluent English (written & verbal);
• Previous experience working in the construction industry is considered an advantage;
