Information and Communication Assistant (maternity cover – 1 year assignment)


On behalf of our trusted client, Public Administration Institution, we are looking for a proactive, communicative, and dynamic person to occupy the position of:

 
Information and Communication Assistant (maternity cover – 1 year assignment)


Overall purpose of the job:

Takes part in the development of contacts with the national political circle as well as the media, cooperate to the information and communication actions and projects management as well as help with the administrative tasks.

Main responsibilities:


•    Supports the communication activities. 
•    Contract management – overseeing of due dates and correct execution of contract clauses.
•    Assistance in the organization of events, press conferences, seminars, information campaigns, events, exhibitions, fairs.
•    Administrative tasks linked to the preparation and organisation of meetings and seminars.
•    Various administrative assistance in the analysis, searching and redaction of reports and replies to the different questions of the stakeholders. 
•    Information searching and preparation of documents in order to elaborate briefings, speeches, reports or for workshops, seminars, conferences or other public events. 
•    Contribute to social media activities in coordination with the Digital leader. This may include contributing input for content, advising on responses to social media comments and using basic digital tools for better listening, analysis and outreach. 
•    Various administrative assistance in the control, analysis and reporting of opinions relating to important questions.
•    Information searching and preparation of documents relating to briefings and reports on different topics.
•    Manages data bases, mailing lists.
•    Provides all useful assistance to the management of calls for tenders/offers (elaboration of tender specifications, follow-up of files, etc.)


Main requirements: 

•    University degree or last year student in European and Social studies, Communication, Media and Press, Public relations, Public administration or relevant field.
•    English language skills (both written and verbal) – C1.
•    At least 1 year of relevant experience is desirable.  
•    Proven skills in working with big volumes of documentation and contract management.
•    Mail-handling. 
•    Excellent communication, organization and coordination skills.
•    Client orientation skills. 
•    Ability to deliver the expected quality and results in a structured way.
•    Ability to work in a proactive and autonomous way.
•    Eye for detail / Accuracy in execution of tasks. 
•    Excellent planning skills.
•    Ability to work in a team.
