Operations manager - Sea transport

On behalf of one of our clients, we are currently looking for an Operations manager - Sea transport

Responsibilities:

• Provide the best possible supply chain solution to all national and international companies.
• Coordinate all shipping related activities to ensure a smooth product supply to all customers.
• Managing and negotiating relations and prices with shipping lines.
• Managing and negotiating relations and prices with subcontractors (road carriers).
• Managing the operations process from booking to invoicing.
• Creating own team with 2/3 members in the beginning.
• Develop relationships with customers to maximize their satisfaction and grow existing business.

Qualifications:

• 3/4 years minimum experience in sea transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in local/foreign trade (import/export documents, quality and sanitary certificates, IMDG).
• Fluent English.
