Java developer
Our client is a Managed Service and IT hosting provider for complex and critical applications with 20+ years of experience.
They monitor, guard, and manage IT platforms and their associated applications 24h x 365 days.
They are an currently within the Top 10 Enterprise hosting companies in Europe, ambitious to become the European leader in its field. For their Bulgarian office they are looking for a Java developer.
What you will do:
- Based on user stories, work with the team to define, design, and implement solutions with Java, React, and TypeScript
- Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and other issues
- Support and improve the existing functionality of the product
Required and desired skills & qualifications:
- Experience in Java programming for 4+ years
- Good understanding of the agile mentality of software development and testing
- A good team player and cooperate with all team members in order to achieve our business goals
- You like to stay up to date on new technologies
- Experience with Java ecosystem & REST
- Frameworks Spring and Hibernate
- Front-end technologies as Angular JS, TypeScript & React (nice to have)
- Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have)
- Liquibase, PostgreSQL (or similar), Maven, Jenkins, and Git (nice to have)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or intention to master it in a short term
- Experience or affinity with Scrum.
- Experience or affinity with Test Driven Development, Keycloak, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and JFrog Artifactory is nice to have.
